Happy 4th of July! What an absolutely beautiful day to be celebrating our independence. This morning we watched a local parade with Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma Berry, Aunt Sue and the Myatt Family. What a ball. Emma had a great time. Tonight we will celebrate with good friends by having a yummy cookout and then off to enjoy the fireworks.
Daddy has been very busy the last couple of days working on this stretch of brick work. Before it was a big bed of dirt three inches down from the driveway. Every time I stepped out of the van on the passenger side I had to either step in mud, snow, or rain water. Uck!! So...I am so so so excited that Joe has worked his booty off to complete this project over the long weekend plus a few vacation days. :) Doesn't it look nice??!!
