Welcome Home Andrew...United States Marine

Today was an exciting day for our family as we welcomed home our Cousin Andrew from Marine Boot Camp. He is an official United States Marine. He graduated in San Diego yesterday. He is home for 9 days. We are so proud of him and glad to see him after three long months.

A new roof in one day

Friday morning I was giving Emma a bath midmorning...looked outside around 11:00am and there was a whole crew of guys in our front yard ready to replace our roof. Joe took the day off to be here to supervise. :) As you can see our roof needed to be replaced...a new look. :)

After a long day of craziness...we are thrilled with our new roof...the color goes great with our sandstone siding.

Happy Birthday Aunt Emily & Aunt Sue!

Today is Aunt Emily and Aunt Sue's birthday. We were delighted to have Aunt Emily home for the weekend to help celebrate her birthday. (We celebrated Aunt Sue's last weekend!). :) Aunt Emily is a few hours away...we hope she had a great day today.
